Childcare Solicitor Locum

A Local Authority in the West Midlands currently requires a Childcare Locum Solicitor to join their team. The contract is likely to be for at least 3-6 months with a high possibility of extension.
We are looking for Qualified Solicitors or Barristers with previous experience working within Childcare Law. Experience of working within a Local Authority is preferred, although applications from Solicitors and Barristers with a working background in a law firm dealing with Public Law Childcare Proceedings will also be considered.

You should be able to perform your own advocacy at County Court and Family Proceedings Court and manage a substantial caseload of around 15 cases

An hourly rate of £35 - 40 per hour on an umbrella basis and is offered dependant on experience.
