Family Solicitor

A highly regarded practice in Hampshire require the ongoing assistance of a locum Family Solicitor or Legal Executive. The role is to start ASAP and will last for circa five months in duration. The role is to cover a long term leave of absence.

The family department provide a wide range of services to cover both Privately funded and legally aided matters. The workload the successful candidate will cover shall include:

• Separation, annulment and divorce
• Financial settlements
• Private children matters
• Arrangements of Children – residence, contact and education
• Cohabitation Agreements
• Pre-marital and post nuptial issues
• Prevention and resolution of child abduction issues
• Change of name
• Domestic violence and related issues
• Civil partnership
• Child care disputes with Local Authorities

Due to the fact this role is to start imminently, candidates should be available immediately or at short notice. Previous experience in running a full family caseload along with the ability to hit the ground running is essential.

The firm are able to provide a varied workload along with competitive hourly rates.
