Litigation Solicitor

Our client is one of the largest law firms in the North East and they are seeking an additional Litigation Solicitor, minimum 1 year PQE for their expanding Dispute Resolution department. You will be expected to handle commercial litigation and property litigation cases independently and assist a Partner with a wide range of cases from straightforward contractual disputes dealt within the small claims court to high value multi-track and technically complex matters. Liaising with colleagues in other departments, you will aim to resolve contractual disputes pre-proceedings and also deal with contested matters up to trial. 

You will need:

• At least 1 year PQE within commercial litigation/property litigation. 

• Good knowledge of the CPR and litigation process.

• The ability to demonstrate an ability to prioritise, cope under pressure and work to strict deadlines. 

• Excellent communication and client care skills. 

• A willingness to cover a variety of tasks and work outside core hours on occasion.
