Private Client Solicitor - Oxford

Due to an increasing amount of instructions being made into this firms private client team they are looking to recruit a senior private client solicitor to strengthen the team further. Brief details of this role are listed below but please get in touch with Greg at QED legal for further details:-

  • Good quality work with a steady flow of high net worth matters from a diverse range of clients including landed gentry, large business owners and directors as well as those with more modest incomes.

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years PQE of dealing with a broad range of matters concerning wills, probate, LPAs, trust and tax planning matters.

  • STEP Qualification would be desirable (but not essential).

  • The firm is thriving at the moment and is continuing to go from strength to strength and the firm sees this as a key strategic appointment to enable them to work towards their ambitions to grow the department further over time and would be interested in hearing from ambitious lawyers that would be interested in helping the firm spearhead the development of the private client team.

  • Working as part of a small but successful department it is expected that you are keen and confident in getting involved in the business development activities of the department and firm and play a key part in the future success of the firm and the department.

  • You must be self motivated and be able to work well with minimal supervision on a day to day basis. The firm enjoys a fantastic reputation in this area of law and expects high standards from their lawyers but treat their staff.

  • This role would be perfect for an experienced private client lawyer who would like more autonomy than they are perhaps getting in your current role and would welcome the chance to play a bigger part in the direction of the department in which you work. Alternatively, it may be of interest to those with the relevant experience looking to take the step up to a senior position within a well respected firm.
