Principal Associate – Personal Injury – Bristol

A leading legal practice in the heart of Bristol city centre are keen to appoint a Principal Associate to manage a team of RTA Litigators and Case Managers.

You will have an active role in developing, coaching and mentoring the team to profitably provide an excellent service at all times to individual and corporate clients.

As Team Manager, you will provide technical supervision of team members in accordance with the department supervisory structure and case escalation points. The role also involves the monitoring of service standards, professional compliance obligations and client care, together with operational management within the department.

This role would suit a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with knowledge and understanding of employers’ and public liability personal claims.

You will have the opportunity to work very closely with the Head of Personal Injury and as a critical part of the overall Leadership Team.

There are five teams including four motor claims teams within the department and one Claims Support Team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong technical experience in the field of fast track motor claims with the ability to assess breach, causation and quantum to a high level.
  • Strong technical experience in multi track claims and ability to run a caseload of multi track claims
  • A proven track record of managing people with the ability to influence staff at all levels
  • Experience in training and development of staff
  • Detailed knowledge of all regulatory issues, compliance and the Code of Conduct
