Property Team Leader

Property Team Leader - A leading property of a law firm in Winchester, Hampshire department dealing with real estate transactions such as major development work, plot sales, right to buy, staircasing and shared ownership require an experienced property team leader. The role will be responsible for day-to-day supervision, motivation and development of the eight Transaction Handlers and other fee-earners within the team with an escalation point to the supervising partner when needed. The post-holder will also have overall service delivery responsibility for the team. This will involve managing successful client relationships and creating new workflows and processes in order to improve efficiencies within the team.

The successful property team leader mus be able to demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills, to be able to build great relationships with clients, to be commercial in approach and focused on the delivery of the clients’ instructions and to demonstrate a passion and commitment to the success of the team and the Housing sector as a whole.

Other skills required include:

·to have experience of residential conveyancing work;
·to have experience of managing others in an upbeat, motivational style and to effectively manage change in a fast paced environment;
·to have the ability to manage a team working on a high volume case load in the residential market;
·the ability to understand, use and contribute to the development of computerised conveyancing case management systems;
·Experience in finance preparing and billing
·previous experience of case management systems would also be helpful, although is not essential;
·to demonstrate a natural affinity and empathy with clients and referrers and the ability to present well to both internal and external customers;
·to be organised in day-to-day activities and long-term projects; and
·to demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a leader and team player.
·current/recent Real Estate / Commercial Property / Housing experience (not essential);

Hours 9am to 5 pm full time. Salary to £32,000
