Job Details
A Legal 100 firm is looking for a Commercial Insurance Solicitor to join its market leading team in Manchester.
Retained by an enviable list of clients including major insurers and commercial clients, this highly capable team is instructed on high quality claims.
The nature of the role, requires a specialist with not less than 2 years’ PQE. You will be given the opportunity to manage your own caseload whilst also supporting Partners on more complex files, often of a multi-jurisdictional nature.
Essentially, the role is to manage claims on behalf of insurers that are property, business or damage related but do not involve personal injury.
Typical instructions include:
- Property Damage – Outlay and Subrogated Recovery.
- Advising Insurers on policy drafting and interpretation.
- Dealing with Professional Indemnity matters.
- Dealing with Insured Construction, Engineering and Development claims.
- Dealing with Contractual Disputes with Service Providers.
