Locum Assistant Solicitor Opportunity
A large local authority in Somerset is currently recruiting for an Assistant Solicitor to join the Legal Department on a locum basis until October.
The day to day duties will include:
- Conducting cases in Courts and Tribunals including Public Inquiries to represent the County
- Preparing reports and providing comprehensive legal, procedural and administrative advice to Committees, Sub-Committees and other bodies
- Drafting contracts and court applications
- Negotiating with other Solicitors or Third Parties in settling documentation or disputes
The successful candidate must have strong local authority experience and be 3+ years PQE.
