CPS South West – Offices in Bristol, Exeter and Truro 

Our casework covers serious, sensitive and complex work with our prosecutors regularly in the news fronting our successful prosecutions. CPS South West prosecutes cases investigated by Gloucestershire, Avon & Somerset and Devon & Cornwall Constabularies and our close working relationship with the police translates into just over eight out of ten prosecutions ending in conviction.

We are currently looking for exceptional lawyers to help us deliver justice and support victims and witnesses. The role is varied, challenging and rewarding. You will review case files and charging decisions, providing legal advice on cases to be presented in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts. The post-holder will analyse, review, prepare and present a wide range of cases at magistrates’ court, and will be expected to have up-to-date knowledge of criminal offences ranging from motoring to murder.
