In-House Conveyancing Lawyer Job in Bristol, part-time hours and flexible working on offer.

Your new company
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancer to join a business based in Bristol as their sole Legal Advisor; advising on and handling the Conveyancing process and providing legal support across the company. This is a newly created role and a great opportunity for a Conveyancer who is keen to work In-house, offering a niche alternative to a desk bound position. The position is offered with flexible working hours and on a part-time basis. This growing business develop and manage a property portfolio across the South West, with a focus on providing properties for the affordable housing market. The business is innovative in nature and is quickly making advances in sustainable housing.

Your new role
You will be integral to the success and development of the business, and will work on behalf of the business in buying and selling properties across the South West. The role will involve preparing and agreeing contracts, transfers, mortgages and leases, liaising with external parties, reviewing and checking mortgage instructions from lenders, and conducting searches.

What you will need to succeed

  • Completed a degree or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer
  • Recent practical experience of conveyancing, in particular Sales and Purchases

Applications are invited from Residential Property Solicitors, CILEX, and Licenced Conveyancers who are fully competent running the full spectrum of the conveyancing process, and have experience of managing their own workload and managing client relationships. As this is will be the only Legal role within the business, you will be confident working in a stand-alone position.
