Are you looking for a firm where Partners and NQ's work side on side on several transactions at any one time giving you the very best in hands on experience? The firm are very well known for their high level of expertise with the public sector, local and central government. That being said they still have a very strong private arm of the business. The firm are a well-known nationwide legal 500 firm and work with some of the biggest insurance companies in the industry. They have a team of 60 members of staff in London and they pride themselves on being able to offer flexibility in terms of work. Many staff often work from home and have flexible working hours, they boast a friendly working environment where progression is on the cards for the right candidate. The firms culture is very different to most City firms and have a really friendly, progressive and dynamic working environment where career progression is at the heart of what they do.

You will be joining a Construction team of 10. The client base spans Central and Local Government as well as a mix of different industry sectors. This variety makes for a very interesting caseload, you will deal with advisory work, procurement, project management, construction contracts, development agreements, security documentation and supply chains. The department has recently worked on some heavy weight transportation and highway functions for local authorities and some large construction projects for private companies. The team are highly experienced and many of the lawyers are ranked as leaders in their field.

You be a Construction Lawyer with between NQ-2 years PQE. You will have good Non-Contentious experience, although if your experience has been more heavy towards Contentious I would still urge you to apply as the firm are open minded and can give training. Your background may be from a City, West End, Specialist or top regional firm. Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of PQE.
