The firm is seeking to hire a Crime Duty Solicitor into their new office based close to Battersea, South West London.

The Crime department is currently very busy with them having recently expanded their legal aid contract. You will work on a broad range of work, attending police stations as a duty solicitor (including out of hours), you will manage a caseload of both Magistrates and Crown Court matters, the firm tend to get a wide variety of different offences making the role more interesting. They have a good reputation locally and do get a lot of referral work. The department has an excellent track record in terms of defending cases.

This role comes with excellent prospects for progression.

• You will be a Qualified Crime Duty Solicitor with at least three years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail are essential
• You should work within a team
• You will deal with an excellent quality of work
