Your new company
This leading local law firm has been providing expert legal advice for over 200 years. It provides legal services to individuals, businesses and organisations. The firm's lawyers have a wealth of experience in their respective specialisms, which include private client, property, employment and litigation.
Your new role
You will support the Employment and Residential/Commercial Property Partners, gaining insight into both practices. The role will be a mixture of administrative duties, alongside more legally focused aspects. On the one hand you will be audio typing, invoicing, ensuring deadlines are recorded and adhered to, and communicating with clients. On the legal side you will be conducting case and file management, assisting with opening, billing and archiving files, preparing court bundles, undertaking legal research and carrying out Land Registry and Companies House searches.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a minimum 2.1 in your LLB. You will have strong attention to detail, be able to demonstrate excellent client care, have good administrative skills and good communication skills. You will also hold a genuine interest in the law, and will have the ambition to further your legal career.
