Nucleus is looking for an Employment solicitor /lawyer
Hours per week: 38
Salary: £26,800-30,750
Location: Based at West London ( West Ealing and Earls court)
We are looking for an employment advisor to join our advice team. The post offers a chance to join a well-established advice centre providing advice across the spectrum of social welfare.
Three years ago we launched a new CFA funded project.
Our employment project helps people quickly and effectively and protects their employment rights.
The project has been successful and now covers it’s basic costs. We are now at the exciting stage of making the self funding employment project sustainable in the medium and long term.
This post offers the chance to run your own case load , choose the type of work we develop and run cases from initial advice to the final hearing. We take cases to tribunal level and the ability to perform advocacy at multiple day final and preliminary hearings is essential.
This post is initially to cover for the current Employment lawyer’s maternity leave, however we expect to use the opportunity to build up the project and expand the project by keeping the post holder on.
We offer generous terms and conditions including:
- 38 hour week (excluding lunch)
- pro rata 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
- Flexible hours
- Great Team support
- A learning work environment
- Time off in lieu of overtime
- Commitment to a work life balance
