Legal Cashier

Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking for a new role in North London?

An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join this long-standing firm with strong ties across North London and Hertfordshire. They have been supporting businesses and individuals across the region for over 100 years. This position has come about due to an internal reshuffle within the finance team.

You will be working directly with the Accounts Manager to ensure all the firm's transactions are processed accurately, promptly and in line with the necessary legal guidelines. You must have prior experience and need minimal training, especially with property matters and more specifically with completions and completion statements. Your main responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

• Handling of incoming client funds
• Input of payments and obtaining appropriate authorisation in advance of deadlines
• Banking of all client and office account cheques
• Managing all outgoing payments

To be considered for this role, you must have experience working in a similar position. You will be able to prioritise your workload appropriately, in order to work to the tight deadlines that will be given. A good understanding of legal accounting software will also be needed along with strong knowledge of SAR.
