The firm are seeking to hire a Community Care Solicitor to their growing Reading office.

The community care department has grown substantially in recent years, you will predominantly work with the SEN team (Special Education Needs) to resolve issues around social care and health for their clients in light of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCPs). The work will involve working closely with the SEN team but is not restricted only to clients with SEND issues or just to children and young adults. You will work closely alongside the Education, Clinical Negligence, PI and Court of protection teams.

Due to the growth of the department, this role comes with excellent prospects for progression.

  • You will be a Community Care Solicitor with at least three years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • You will have good experience of dealing with special educational needs
  • You should have excellent communication skills
  • A meticulous eye for detail is essential
  • Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
