Construction NQ Solicitor (Contentious) - Manchester

Top tier, global law firm based in Manchester are seeking a Construction Litigation Solicitor at the NQ level to join the team.

Their construction and engineering lawyers are acknowledged experts when it comes to large scale projects and disputes avoidance and management. They utilise the experience and commercial expertise of their people to ensure deals are delivered on time and problems resolved in a straightforward and commercial manner. Acting for governments, public bodies, multinational and major national corporations and international contractors, the matters they deal with are often leading edge and highly significant. As part of one of the largest teams of its kind in the world, their people have the support they need to deliver excellence.

Working directly with the Partner and Associates in the team, you will receive a varied and exciting caseload. This will include handling adjudications, working in teams on large scale disputes, undertaking document management, witness statements and project management. The projects on which they work are interesting and diverse and include: Oil and Gas projects, water infrastructure schemes, energy from waste schemes; nuclear and engineering projects.

You will be a UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 months contentious construction experience in a trainee seat from a recognised commercial practice in the Top 100. Beyond your experience you'll need to be career focused and enthusiastic to learn and to take advantage of the further training this firm will afford you.

Candidates who are already in the local market or who are prepared to relocate will be considered on their merits. Market leading remuneration and benefits package.
