Are you an ICSA qualified chartered company secretary with management experience? Would you be interested in working for a leading professional firm with a diverse client base?
 
My client is a large professional services firm with a client base ranging from large, small and medium sized companies, charities, limited liability partnerships to listed PLCs. They are now looking to bring on board an experienced manager who is fully ICSA qualified to deliver, market and develop the department’s services.
 
As Company Secretarial Manager, your responsibilities will include a mixture of technical, managerial and business development responsibilities, including:
 
Technical
  • Providing a full company secretarial services to clients
  • Carrying out one-off and ad hoc re-structuring and technical assignments, liaising with accounts, audit and tax
  • Maintaining statutory registers and filing forms at Companies House via Blueprint
  • Ensuring services are delivered in accordance with the firm’s standards and policies
Business Development
  • Market the services of the cosec department
  • Attend networking events to promote Company Secretarial services
  • Seek new opportunities and win new clients and assignments
  • Undertake presentations to other offices and clients
Managerial responsibilities
  • Train and coach junior team members
  • Carry out staff reviews
  • Assist in setting targets and budgets for the national team  
This Company Secretarial Manager role would be suitable for someone who possesses the following:
  • The ability to lead a team
  • Has working knowledge of the CA 2006 and a detailed knowledge of Blueprint
  • Experienced in meeting client needs within a professional services environment
  • ICSA qualified
