The Role
We are now seeking a talented and driven Regulatory / Criminal Solicitor to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Birkenhead area. Becoming part of a specialist team, the successful Solicitor will manage a demanding, diverse caseload incorporating defending business clients from prosecution by agencies including the Health and Safety Executive, Trading Standards and the FCA. Additional attendance and representation at inquests and public inquiries will for an essential part of the position. The ideal Solicitor will also participate in business development activities and assist with Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 12 months’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Regulatory / Criminal department.
You must have excellent technical skills with expertise defending businesses from prosecution.
Additional experience in POCA matters would be highly advantageous.
You will be client-focused with first class interpersonal skills.
You will be confident advocate.
An aptitude for business development is essential for the position.
