In House Commercial Property Solicitor, 3 - 7 PQE
A unique and exciting in house commercial property opportunity is available within an established in house legal team.
Reporting into the Senior In-House Legal Counsel, the successful lawyer will be responsible for providing legal services in connection with the company's property portfolio.
This is a commercial property position however you will be required to carry out a degree of construction work in this role. Ideally you will have basic construction experience as well as a working history in commercial property.
Work in this role will include, but is not limited to:
- Leading on the sale of a care homes (million £+)
- Providing ad hoc commercially focused legal advice to the business generally.
- Advising the business on various matters of estate management including surrender, break clauses, variation, alienation, alteration and repair.
- Drafting, negotiating and concluding licences to occupy, alter and underlet.
- Assisting with documentation arising out of home construction projects.
- Researching and analysing new legislation before briefing the business about the implications of such regulation and supporting the resulting compliance programmes.
- Working closely with external solicitors in relation to transactional, leasehold and litigious matters.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer looking for a challenging and varied in-house role.
Our client would like to hear from commercial property solicitors with at least 3 years experience, as well as construction solicitors with at least 3 years experience.
