A great opportunity to join a Legal 500 firm, possibility of eventual training contract!

This Legal 500 firm has offices across the south east and is currently recruiting for a paralegal to join their insurance litigation team in Colchester.  One of the oldest established firms in the country, it has a particularly low turnover of staff. One reason for this is that the firm takes a holistic approach to recruitment, looking at individuals who bring with them an interesting mix of experience and who have demonstrable levels of commitment and integrity in previous roles.  Offering a range of benefits and a competitive salary, our client is now offering a fantastic opportunity to a paralegal seeking to gain experience in RTA insurance work.  There is a strong possibility that this could lead to a training contract in the future.

You will be a graduate, preferably with your LPC completed or possibly studying for it on a part-time basis. You will be working under the supervision of a legal executive in the insurance litigation department and dealing with a mix of defendant RTA and PL matters. To begin with this will be predominantly small claims and fast-track cases but this firm is very committed to candidates who wish to progress their careers and will support accordingly.  You will be an excellent communicator, providing an exceptional level of service to clients and colleagues alike; motivated, with good time management skills, and a real team player. Please contact Karl and quote reference KT26202 when applying for this insurance paralegal role.

The successful candidate will:-
Be a law graduate, ideally with some previous experience in motor claims work;
Be confident in IT matters, ideally with experience of using a case management system;
Have a good eye for detail, be flexible but with good time-management skills;
Have an excellent attitude, be a great team-player and willing to learn.
