This Legal 500 firm has offices across the south east and is currently recruiting for a solicitor to join the commercial property team in Colchester.  One of the oldest established firms in the country, it has a particularly low turnover of staff. One reason for this is that the firm takes a holistic approach to recruitment, looking at individuals who bring with them an interesting mix of experience and who have demonstrable levels of commitment and integrity in previous roles.  This is a permanent, full-time position, but the firm would be willing to consider part-time hours for the right candidate.  On offer is a range of benefits and a competitive salary. 

You will be working with the commercial property partner in a range of general commercial property matters such as retail landlord and tenant, site acquisitions, commercial mortgages and other types of funding. The firm is looking to expand and a candidate with an enthusiastic approach to networking, marketing and other business development would be very welcome. You will be an excellent communicator, providing an exceptional level of service to clients and colleagues alike. You will be:-
A solicitor of 3 - 8 years’ PQE;
Have a solid background in commercial property work;
Be experienced in using case management systems or, alternatively, possess good IT skills;
Be comfortable running your own busy caseload;
Have a good eye for detail, be flexible but also very aware of deadlines;
Be an enthusiastic networker who will enjoy the challenge of developing and sustaining growth in the property team.
