Job Details
One of South Manchester's largest Legal Firms requires an experienced Legal Secretary ideally with a history in Commercial Property to provide full secretarial support to a team of 7 fee earners in their South Manchester office however, a strong legal secretarial background will also be considered.
As part of a team of 3 it is essential that you are a team player as well as able to work under your own initiative. It is required that you will be competent audio-typing, using Microsoft Office programs (including track changing) and a case management system. As the ideal candidate you will be accurate and highly organised with an excellent personable manner. It is desirable if you have obtained RSA or equivalent Word Processing qualification to Stage III.
The main duties of the role include but are not limited to;
¿ Submitting land registry applications
¿ Replying to land registry requisitions
¿ Preparing draft template documents for the fee earners
¿ Working on Tracked Changes documents
¿ Copy typing
¿ Audio typing
¿ Submitting commercial property searches e.g. coal or indemnities
¿ Using Proclaim
¿ Using Winscribe
A salary up to £22,000 will be offered to the right candidate.
