Well known regional firm in the Midlands are now looking for a private client solicitor to head up a highly productive team.

There is a team of 4 all with secretarial support and you will be happy to nurture the firms' existing well developed client base but also look to increase still further their profile.

You can expect to handle the full remit of private client work - wills , probate, trusts, services for the elderly, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, inheritance tax matters, court of protection matters and the firm would be especially keen to hear from solicitors with knowledge of welfare benefits, care funding regulations and taxation.

What is also absolutely imperative is that you have managed or supervised staff and have the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.

Inheriting a caseload of work you will have made your made elsewhere in a noted team and you will have a varied skillset having taken on responsibility.

You should be commercial in approach and be willing to get out into the local community and forge your own reputation as others at the firm have done previously, anticipating any new opportunities and maximising the potential of those opportunities.

You should be appreciative of your clients' needs and always be prepared to go the extra mile for them.

Salary to negotiation based on experience or based on any work in progress that can be brought along.
