Senior Lawyer (Child Protection)
£39,957 - £43,620 per annum
Based at County Hall, Norwich
Permanent contract - 37 hours per week
nplaw (Norfolk Public Law) is an award-winning shared legal service providing advice and representation to a wide range of local authorities and public bodies across England and Wales.
You will be part a team providing legal advice and support on child protection matters ensuring that stakeholders’ and clients’ expectations are met.
You will provide and supervise others in the provision of professional legal advice and advocacy to clients of the Child Protection Team to protect their interests, meeting standards of practice quality and consistency.
You will line manage team members allocating work and resources to meet client timescales; developing staff skills, and ensuring work is done at the correct level of expertise.
You should be a solicitor, barrister or fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CiLEX) with substantial experience of child protection law and have excellent supervisory skills.
