My client is in need of an insolvency solicitor to be based in the Southampton. The firm is a large and prestigious firm and is proudly accredited by Lexcel, the Law Society's Quality Practice kite mark and is highly regarded by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 legal directories.

The firm's specialist Insolvency and Business Recovery team have been shortlisted as Finalists in the 2016 Insolvency Rescue Awards. They are looking for an individual to join the team to offer advice and assistance on all corporate and personal insolvency matters and to work alongside the experiences members of the Dispute Resolution, Commercial Property and Employment teams. The team's clients are predominantly made up of licensed insolvency practitioners however it also acts for business owners, company directors, debtors and creditors. The work will involve, amongst other things, advisory work, asset realisations, business sales and bringing and defending insolvency claims.

The candidate should have contentious and non-contentious insolvency and business recovery experience and ideally should be newly qualified or have 2 years PQE (or equivalent experience). Written communication and drafting skills are vital as well as the ability to maintain and develop the existing client base.
