Conveyancing Assistant/Conveyancing Paralegal- Peterborough

Suitable for those currently working as conveyancing assistants or paralegals or alternatively those working in a legal secretarial position within a conveyancing team looking to make the step up to a conveyancing assistant role

An extremely well established centrally based Peterborough firm are on the lookout for experienced paralegals, conveyancing assistants or legal secretaries to join their thriving residential property team.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months experience in assisting fee earners within a residential property department and have a good working knowledge of the conveyancing process as well as being highly organised in order to operate effectively in a busy department. You will be expected to perform a broad range of tasks such as opening and closing files, liaising with clients over the telephone to keep them updated with regards to there transactions, dealing with incoming post, applying for searches and other administrative duties as directed by the senior fee earner you will be supporting.

The firm will offer excellent progression prospects, training and support to develop you in your role and ensure that you develop into a first class residential property lawyer so would be perfect for candidates with some experience looking for a firm to fulfill their potential. The salary will be based on experience.
