Senior Finance Manager

This specialist Conveyancing law firm is a modern, forward-thinking and dynamic company who are very progressive and currently growing. They have a head office in Chelmsford, Essex and a growing presence in Exeter. They now stand at a team of 40 with 25% growth planned over the next 12 months. They have a growing client base spanning the country and have a reputation for dealing with high-quality work and delivering a great service.

The firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to join their modern office based in Chelmsford, Essex.

This is a new position; the firm has currently got an Accounts Manager and a small team of Legal Cashiers. You will report into the CEO and will deal at a senior level. You will also work very closely with external accountants; this will be a role where you will have a great level of responsibility also being able to advise on strategy, budgets, and forecasts. You oversee the Finance department and deal with, Bills, Bank reconciliations, Cash flow, CLC account rules, Budgets, VAT, and Payroll.

• Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Previous Finance Manager experience is essential
• Recent working knowledge of SRA or CLC account rules
• Sage Payroll experience would be to advantage
• Experience of case management system, Osprey, would be useful
• The salary is negotiable depending on your level experience
