Senior Residential Property Lawyer, Hertfordshire - A practice renowned for their residential property offerings is keen to appoint an additional Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to head up the residential property department

JOB TITLE: Residential Property Lawyer

PQE REQUIRED: 4+

LOCATION: Hertfordshire (Commutable from: Hertford, Letchworth Garden City, Stevenage and Bedford)

SALARY: £Dependant on experience

THE ROLE:

A new position has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a well established law firm and head up the residential property department. You will be responsible for your own caseload of residential property transactions and also be expected to deal with the day to day management of the department. The role will include advising on all types of residential property transactions including; sales and purchases, transfer of equity, remortgages together with freehold and leasehold property files. As the appointed Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor you will be expected to deal the whole conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion and possess the desire and commitment to business develop as well as conduct a busy caseload of residential transactions.

THE CANDIDATE:

This position would suit a Residential Conveyancer who is looking for more responsibility and a step up on the career ladder. Applications are welcomed from experienced Residential Property Solicitors, Legal Executives and Licensed Conveyancers who are able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience in residential property gained within a reputable law firm. You will be able to work well under pressure within a high volume environment and possess the capability to manage and supervise other members within the team. Suitable Residential Conveyancers will have the ability to engage with people easily and be able to apply discipline and process towards optimising their performance. You will as the appointed Residential Property Lawyer have some experience of running your own team and supervising more junior members of the team.
