Commercial Property Solicitor - Extensive Business Development

A multi-sited very strong regional practice is undergoing the next phase of the expansion of its Commercial Property Team and so is keen to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor at a senior level at the firms' Solihull office.

With around 150 staff spread across a number of offices throughout the West Midlands and Worcestershire, the firm provides expert legal advice across the full spectrum of legal disciplines to both individuals and businesses alike.

The practices' highly regarded and growing Commercial Property Team is already established at the firms' head office and the intention now is to consolidate this offering at the firms' other offices. As such the firm is keen to hear from an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to join the firm and drive the real estate offering to the next level.

This role is different as it is not just limited to dealing with purely commercial property transactions. A significant aspect of the role is undertaking business development, marketing the department and leveraging off your contacts to open up new revenue streams so this opportunity really does allow you to make your mark on the firm and build upon its already considerable market share.

The team comprises 1 Partner, 2 Senior Associates, 1 Associate and 1 Solicitor, as well as a number of support staff, so this is the perfect opportunity for a senior practitioner who is concerned about progression in their current role as this opportunity will allow you to considerably the grow the team to the extent that there will be a clear path to partnership in the medium term, especially given the level at which you would join the team, whilst also taking an active role in growing the teams already significant standing in the market.

Naturally a competitive salary and benefits package is on offer which includes 23 days' holiday entitlement as well as extra holidays over the Christmas period when the office closes. The firm also prides itself on its non-corporate environment and strives to promote a positive work/life balance which is something many of the larger national practices aren't able to do.
