Employment Solicitor / Associate

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and successful Employment Solicitor / Associate to join one of the region’s leading law firms. The Employment team deals with a range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious with a mix of generalist HR, public sector, private sector and charity work.

The role will suit lawyer who is very driven with regards to business development, and takes an active approach to the growth of the firm as a whole.

The Candidate

•4yrs PQE + as an Employment solicitor ideally, however there is a degree of flexibility with this
•An ability to demonstrate a high level of technical and commercial expertise
•Your Employment technical skills will be equally balanced by an ambition to progress and develop and the progression opportunities are achievable and open to those who want them
•You will be supported and encouraged to develop specialist knowledge and additional skills to further your own career and the reputation of the team
•Supervision of junior members of staff
•Experience of transactional experience is essential
•Excellent people and client care skills

With regards to the candidate’s’ level of PQE, the client has given 4+ years as a guideline.

However, candidates with ambition and a demonstrable track record of success and business development are more than welcome to apply.
