This industry leading and award-winning brand works on hugely prestigious national and international projects, with exposure across a wide variety of sectors. The organisation has a great reputation in terms of looking after its people, and is looking to continue growing across the board. The legal function is sizeable, with an excellent reputation and roughly 11 lawyers in London.

Your new role
A construction legal position, encompassing a large degree of contentious construction disputes work, together with some transactional exposure and contractual agreements work. You will advise on regulatory requirements across the business, liaise with clients and keep educating the business on the significance of developing issues across the wider company landscape. You will work closely with the General Counsel and various internal business units as a valued business advisor, with the primary focus on construction disputes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have up to 5 years' PQE, with significant exposure to contentious construction issues. Ideally trained in a City law firm, you will have exceptional technical ability, attention to detail and problem-solving drive. You be adept at managing stakeholders at all levels and you will be able to work under pressure to strict deadlines. You will be confident in giving the correct commercial and legal advise in relation to construction disputes, and you will be keen to develop ties with the wider business. You will possess excellent communication skills, a team mentality and commercial awareness. Any exposure in a professional services arena would be highly valued, as would in-house experience.
