Construction Solicitor

Our client is a highly-regarded commercial law firm based in the Thames Valley regions. They are seeking a NQ - 1 year’s+ PQE Construction Solicitor to join the ever expanding team.

Experience of advising on and drafting amendments to standard form construction contracts (e.g. JCT, NEC), collateral warranties, bonds and guarantees is essential, whether advising public or private sector developers, contractors or consultants; construction industry dispute resolution expertise or experience (e.g. adjudication, arbitration, litigation and/or ADR) is essential.

This is an additional role due to an increase in the company's growth/work levels. The team in Reading will require you to work alongside two Partners and two Senior Solicitors, two Associates and a Paralegal.

The work will be a broad mix of non-contentious and contentious work. You should ideally have trained at a recognised London or regional practice, good contract drafting skills, and a strong academic record (2.1 degree is a minimum requirement).
