Employment Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.
Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious lawyer who has recent experience of handling a wide range of employment law matters. This council are very accommodating towards flexible working.
Working closely with the director of HR and head of service, you will be a confident employment lawyer, able to communicate with stakeholders at every level.
The ideal candidate will hold the following experience related to employment law;
- Dismissal (unfair/wrongful/constructive)
- Discrimination (race, disability, sex, etc.)
- Admissions appeals
- Exclusion appeals
Previous public sector employment experience is highly desirable, but our client is also keen to hear from private practice candidates who have employment law experience.
The successful candidate will work with a talented and supportive team, which is highly regarded within the local government circuit.
