This multi-accredited law firm is gaining a substantial reputation for its family law team, a specialist children’s team and associated areas of practice which take in matters relating to public law.  The firm is now looking to recruit a solicitor or possibly a legal executive to join the firm and take on an interesting caseload consisting of Court of Protection work plus a related caseload of community care matters.  This role is based in the busy town of Havant, with its excellent transport links.

You will be joining a small but very busy team which is instructed in a range of matters taking in elements of disability legislation, elderly client and mental capacity matters as well as associated work in the Court of Protection.  You should have experience in Judicial Review challenges and legally-aided work and have exceptional client care skills with an empathetic approach and the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language. You will:-
Be an experienced solicitor or legal executive with a strong background in community care matters;
Ideally, have current LAA supervisor status in community care law, although this is not an absolute requirement;
Have excellent client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in Plain English.
