A great role for a senior associate with Data Protection experience to join a niche commercial practice with a reputation for fast becoming the firm to go to. This role offers a genuine platform for career progression for those who wish to be involved in the continued rapid growth of the data protection practice. This role sits within the highly ranked Commercial Technology team, which is one of the largest specialist teams in the City.

With clients in digital media, digital commerce, software services and telecoms clients and a strong buy side practice in the financial services, media, professional services and retail sectors. It is a very much flourishing practice that continues to flourish year on year. Moreover this area is at the centre of their growth plans and a main focus for the firm.

This role offers an opportunity for progression to the successful candidate.

My client is looking for experience of handling a broad range of data protection matters, gained within a highly ranked practice or in-house; experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements containing information and data protection clauses; and a genuine enthusiasm in data protection law, ideally having published articles.

A perfect opportunity for a lawyer who likes having one to one client facing work, developing their own business relationships and becoming part of a highly ambitious team.

You may currently be working within a city firm and be looking for an opportunity that continues to afford very high calibre work as well as prospects and remuneration. Ideally you will be a qualified solicitor with upwards of 5 PQE.
