Your new company
A leading listed international construction and architecture organisation in the heart of London, with 5,000 in the UK. This industry leading and award-winning brand works on hugely prestigious national and international projects, with exposure across a wide variety of sectors. The organisation has a great reputation in terms of looking after its people, and is looking to grow its Digital offering to the market. The legal function is sizeable, with an excellent reputation and roughly 11 lawyers in London.

Your new role
A junior to mid-level intellectual property role, reporting to General Counsel. You will advise on important intellectual property matters, including copyright/trademark infringement, IP licensing and technology agreements in relation to the growth of the Digital business. You will understand and relay the effects of new technologies within the construction sector, and negotiate related contracts including SaaS and licensing agreements. Additionally, you will work on corporate work including divestment and M&A matters, and advise on data sharing matters.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a mid level lawyer with strong training, excellent academics and ideally a mixture of practice and in-house experience. You will have excellent intellectual property expertise, with the ability to also effectively advise on corporate matters. Experience in a digital, e-commerce or professional services environment will be highly valued. You will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to train and advise the business on the impact of new technologies in the construction sector.
