1-3 PQE. Clinical Negligence Solicitor. NHSLA / NHS LA /  NHS Resolution / NHSR.  Defendant Clinical Negligence claims.  The team defends both pre-litigation and litigation covering the full range of clinical negligence issues including, surgical, obstetric, orthopaedic and psychiatric.

About the role.

 

The team consists of 5 partners and 70 lawyers, including legal support, undertaking healthcare related work. The Clinical Negligence Solicitor will be joining a Senior Associate and Solicitor in the London office within the Healthcare department. Defendant only Claims up to a value of £500,000 both pre-litigation and in litigation covering the full range of clinical negligence issues including, surgical, obstetric, orthopaedic and psychiatric.

 

The team are ranked in the top tier for Defendant Clinical Negligence in both Chambers and Legal 500.

 

About you.

 

A Clinical Negligence Chartered Legal Executive or Qualified Solicitor. Defendant clinical negligence experience.

 

It is highly desirable to have previous experience at an NHS LA  /  NHSLA / NHSR Panel Firm, with previous client contact and attendance at business development events.

As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor you will be dealing with claims pre-litigation and in litigation covering the full range of clinical negligence issues including, surgical, obstetric, orthopaedic and psychiatric.

About the firm.

 

Our client is an international law firm with specialist expertise in litigation/dispute resolution and advisory services. They deliver straightforward legal solutions to insurance, corporate and public sectors. The defendant only practice based in London, Birmingham and Cambridge advises the NHS Litigation Authority, 60 NHS Trusts, Medical Protection Society and medical malpractice insurers of private hospitals and clinics on clinical negligence claims. We also advise on health law advice, regulatory matters and represent clients at inquests and judicial reviews and give guidance on clinical risk management.
