Senior Legal Assistant, Local Authority, Property, North London, Temporary, up to £25.50 p/h

I am working with a local authority based in North London, who is looking for a Senior Legal Assistant to join its Property team.

Your new role
You will provide specialist property legal advice, including Right to Buy, Commercial Property, and Acquisitions and Disposals. You will provide legal advice and assistance when required, managing a full caseload of legal matters. You will provide specialist advice on legal matters, and represent the Council in applications before the Magistrates Court, County Court and High Court. You will build and maintain credible relationships with Council colleagues, external Partners and stakeholders. You will also ensure that electronic products and journals provided by the Council are up-to-date with current law. You will contribute to the recruitment and training of new members of staff, and provide training to members of the Service and the Council.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have completed your LLB, and will ideally have a years' worth of experience in property law, working on Right to Buy matters and Commercial Property.
