Due to their constant development and high demand of services, an excellent vacancy has arisen for a Senior Adult Services Solicitor on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Working as part of the Legal Services Department you will be demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014. You'll have experience in various legal matters including: mental health and capacity, Court of Protection applications & the health/social interface and judicial review proceedings. You be responsible for a varied caseload and work on high-level cases. You would also be required to advise on politically and financially sensitive matters.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be a UK qualified Solicitor with good working knowledge of adult care law and Care Act 2014, ideally gained in a local authority organisation. You will also have experience in conducting your own advocacy, drafting relevant legal documents and managing your caseload of adult care matters. You will also have experience in managing and training other staff members.
