Our client is a highly regarded, multi-site brand which enjoys great profile in the region where it is based, and typically acts for the larger businesses and higher net worth individuals in the locality. It is a well-run firm with a good spread of revenue from different sectors and has a decent reputation for its people-centric approach.

As a consequence of succession planning they are looking for a senior lawyer, likely Partner level, who will be coming from a private client background. Essential is that you've had exposure to complex work including trusts and tax planning, and business property relief. A good proportion of the clients you'll act for have landed interests or are in the agricultural sector and so experience of this client base will be massively advantageous as you'll be expected to foster relationships with key clients from the outset and so having empathy and understanding with them is of vital importance. The role is based in Lincoln so suitable candidates will need to demonstrate a clear commitment to the region for the long term.

This is a substantial opportunity for a Private Client Senior Associate looking for a step-up to Partner, or a lateral move for a Partner who wants to be with a highly ranked brand with the visibility and resources that brings.
