THE FIRM

An international firm with offices in all the major legal hubs.

THE ROLE

Within the London office of the firm's international Dispute Resolution group.

The team handles the widest variety of work including all forms of dispute resolution such as litigation, arbitration and ADR along with risk management and corporate governance advice.

The London team runs both national and more complex multi-jurisdictional international disputes, as well as providing strategic advice on the best forum in which to seek to resolve a dispute.

ABOUT YOU

At mid/senior level the successful candidate will work on a broad range of dispute resolution matters for a range of clients across the firm's key industry sectors which include, amongst others: Technology & Communications, Aviation and Financial Services.

Candidates will need to demonstrate a passion for commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

You will be a good 'all-round' commercial disputes lawyer; have received solid legal training and gained experience in a leading City firm.

Exposure to international clients and regulatory work would be advantageous, as would arbitration experience, although this is not essential.

In addition, experience of multi-party disputes and fraud matters would be useful.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience of operating effectively as a mid/senior associate in their current firm.
Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree.
Experience of handling complex disputes gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level.
A desire to be working for a truly international firm.

Lipson Lloyd Jones Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. Please note our advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the minimum level of experience required. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfill this kind of work.
