Locum Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Commercial Property Locum Solicitor has arisen within a Local Authority in East Anglia. This position requires an established Lawyer who is looking for a challenging role with the objectives of implementing change and efficiency. You will be required to manage a team so therefore it is essential that the successful applicant has some management experience.

This contract is predicted to last for a minimum period of 3 – 6 months whilst recruiting permanently so there is a chance that it could be extended. Ideally, the successful candidate could start on short notice and will be able to do/have the following:

• Manage/supervise and appraise staff
• Will be able to deal with complex commercial property deals and negotiations
• Meet with chief executives/senior council officers to discuss high level matters
• Has the knowledge, confidence and gravitas to go with the responsibility

Applications will be considered from Qualified Lawyers, Solicitors and Legal Executives with strong Local Authority experience. You should be able to build and develop the skills of a small team and support your colleagues through complex legal processes.
