Your new company
Our client is a well-respected investment manager, responsible for assets under management across liability driven investment, currency management, fixed income, absolute return, multi-asset and specialist investment strategies. With an innovative and client focused investment approach, they are looking to hire a qualified lawyer to work within their derivatives, trading , markets legal team.
Your new role
Working within an immediate team of 6 , you will have responsibility for the trading documentation (ISDA , GMRA and MSFTA) with 15 dealer counterparties. You will be responsible for adding new clients and funds to existing agreements and negotiating additional ISDA/GMRA and MSFTA with new counterparties .You will have considerable interaction with counterparty banks, fund manager and the client services team, and help the business prepare for central clearing
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 4 years' experience of drafting and negotiating ISDA and GMRA agreements, as well as have demonstrable experience in transitioning and on boarding new clients. Although candidate with asset management would be of particular interest, we are happy to consider candidate who have relevant experience from within either a law firm or banking
