The role

We are seeking an associate with strong capital markets experience from a top tier City firm. This role would suit a lawyer with 2+ years PQE, although candidates who have relevant experience from 1 years PQE will also be considered. The Capital Markets team works with many leading financial institutions, advising on matters including structured securities, securitisation, CDO's and repackaging. The group has a proven track record in acting on innovative and high-profile transactions, ranging from dealing with simple transactions to solving technical difficulties in highly engineered financial products. The group has a strong international focus, working across a range of developed and emerging market jurisdictions.

Key requirements:

* Excellent academics.
* Experience in structured securities, securitisation, CDO's and/or repackaging (preferable).
* Strong client focus with an ability and willingness to get actively involved in marketing and business development.
* Commercially driven.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team.
