Your new role
A commercial legal position supporting the General Counsel as part of a collaborative and respected legal function. You will negotiate and draft business relevant commercial agreements including power purchase agreements. You will also assist in corporate M&A matters, and contribute across the wider legal function. You will build relationships with different business units, and communicate and simply commercial challenges in a professional and consultative manner.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified lawyer with 4+ PQE or equivalent experience. Applications from both UK qualified lawyers and those from other jurisdictions will be welcomed. You will be an excellent communicator with proven technical ability and stakeholder management awareness. You will ideally have trained with a reputable law firm, and in-house experience will be welcomed. Experience within the renewable energy sector will be appreciated. You will have experience with commercial contracts, particularly power purchase agreements, either within the private or public sectors.
