Your new role
A corporate sitting within the company's M&A and Private Equity team. The role would be ideal for a corporate lawyer looking to move in-house to a more advisory position. In connection with M&A transactions, you will advise on transactional risk, including advising on how M&A insurance products can be included to ensure commercial aims are met. You will guide clients throughout transactions, highlighting the benefits and mechanics of warranty and indemnity insurances and leading insurer negotiations to consolidate coverage position.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK-qualified corporate lawyer with 2-5 PQE or equivalent experience (applications from lawyers with more experience would also be welcomed). You will have trained at a top City law firm, and have gained excellent exposure to M&A and/or private equity work. Experience advising on warranty and indemnity insurance would be an advantage, but is not essential for the role. You will be confident managing internal and stakeholders, particularly the deal teams in the clients' employ. You will be a confident negotiator with a commercial mindset and excellent understanding of advising on risk.
