Employment NQ Solicitor - Hull

Our client is a niche but rapidly growing firm acting nationally for companies (large and also SME/OMB) and their directors on a range of contentious issues.

One of the firms core offerings is employment law, and they are now looking to add another employment lawyer to the team, ideally at the NQ-3 level. The caseload is respondent work and is sourced regionally within Yorkshire and across the north, but also nationally and the firm has an innovative business model and a good client base. They're well managed and well resourced and this is an exciting phase in the firms growth.

A suitable candidate will have completed a seat in employment law as a trainee (preferably respondent) and will be keen to get fully involved in a broad range of work. You'll have your own cases and also support a more senior solicitor who will supervise you on a daily basis.

Getting into a career in employment law is notoriously difficult as firms rarely recruit externally so this represents an unusual opportunity to consolidate your skills and start building PQE in respondent matters.
Florit Brooke advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
