Planning Solicitor, Cambridgeshire - Well thought of by your clientele?? Looking for better prospects within your career as a Planning Lawyer? Due to continued number of new instructions within the planning department, the firm are keen to appoint an additional Senior Planning Solicitor to play a key role in the development of the team.

JOB TITLE: Planning Solicitor


LOCATION: Cambridgeshire (Commutable from: Peterborough, Stamford, Cambridge, Wisbech, Corby, Kettering, Ely)

SALARY: £Dependant on experience


Due to the continued success within the planning team, a new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Planning Lawyer to assist in the development of the planning department. Working as part of a thriving team, you will handle a broad range of planning matters and assist with applications for major infrastructure projects. The workload for the appointed Planning Solicitor will include but not limited to drafting development consent orders, planning agreements, section 106 agreements, statements of common ground, compulsory acquisition, reviewing environmental statements and project management. The successful Planning Solicitor will also be required to deal with enforcement issues, judicial review and planning inquiries. The chosen Planning Lawyer will be expected to bring along with them a network of contacts who are able to instruct on future matters.


Suitable Planning Solicitors will have gained some sound experience within a well regarded law firm renowned for their planning offerings. Ideal Planning Lawyers will have a minimum of 5 years PQE and gained exposure to a broad range of planning work. You will have excellent drafting skills, a true interest in and experience of planning related work and a commitment to building a career in planning law. This is an exciting role offering an unrivalled opportunity to work on high quality planning work outside of the City. Applications are sought from Planning Lawyers who are well versed in all types of planning related matters and possess a real desire to business develop and network. Ideal Planning Solicitors will have experience of dealing with section 106 agreements, Affordable Housing Provisions and other planning / enforcement related issues. You will have a number of contacts who are able to instruct you on future matters.
