Locum contract – West Midlands – mid-September start – 2-3 months+ – £30-£35ph DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well established team in the West Midlands on a locum basis pending permanent recruitment.

Role description
The position will entail assuming responsibility for a full caseload of Residential Conveyancing files and progressing matters from initial instruction to completion. The locum assistance is needed until the firm makes a permanent appointment. Full secretarial support will be provided. The ideal start date will be mid-September and the projected duration of the contract is 2-3 months.

On offer is a competitive hourly rate which is negotiable and dependent on experience. Candidates seeking an hourly rate outside of the above bracket will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Candidate specification
The successful candidate will be an experienced Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner with a proven track record of effectively managing a full caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters. Previous experience of autonomously handling a workload with minimal supervision would be essential.
